The course in Computational Biology & Bioinformatics is an interdisciplinary master course combining Biology and Computational Sciences. The aim of this course is the imparting of competent knowledge of quantitative and computer based Biology as well as the hands-on experience in Bioinformatics. This course is a joint program of the University of Zurich, the University of Basle and the ETH and is recommended for students with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Mathematics, Physics, Computational Science, Chemistry or Engineering Sciences. If necessary, the admission committee imposes minimal requirements in the subject in order to establish faire conditions for all students.
